For the past four years I have organized and led an annual retreat called the Future of Talent. I personally invite up to about 25 leaders in human resources, talent management, recruiting, training and organizational development. We have a global reach with participants from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, The Netherlands, Canada and South Africa.
Over two and a-half days, we engage in discussions led by experts who lead, not preach, around several themes that have been identified by myself and previous participants as of relevance, concern or interest.
This year’s themes, while not completely finalized, will focus around the integration of the various elements of talent management, global and cultural issues in recruitment and retention, and emerging global trends that are impacting human resources.
